מחול בבית: סטודיו פתוח- אחה"צ +ערב עם פאון

המופע אחה"צ + ערב עם פאון הוא מכירת חיסול נועזת של היוצר ארתור אסטמן. יצירת הסולו מרסקת את רעיון הפרפורמנס הוירטואוזי, ובוחנת את המיניות הגברית תוך שהיא מרחיבה את גבולות האותנטי לעומת המזויף.

בחלק הראשון של המופע ארתור משחזר בדיוק רב את הבלט "אחר הצהריים של פאון" לפי הכוראוגרפיה הפרובוקטיבית והידועה של וואסלאב ניז'ינסקי מ-1912. ארתור ממשיך אל דיאלוג-ריקוד עם הקהל, בעודו מבצע זינוקים נועזים אל תוך הסיפור הפרטי שלו, מגיל 5, בו החל להופיע באופן מקצועי, דרך מחנות האימונים של שיטת הבלט הרוסית, אל העליה ארצה, העליה להופעות על פודיומים במועדונים, ההפיכה לכוכב ריאליטי (נולד לרקוד) והבחירה לחיות כאמן.

זוהי מכירת חיסול על חייו, בה הכל הולך, איש לא יוצא ממנה תמים ולכל דבר יש מחיר.

Afternoon+Evening With A Faun  

Afternoon + Evening with a Faun is a daring personal clearance sale by Artour Astman. The solo crashes the idea of performative virtuosity, moving through regions of male sexuality and expanding the borders of the authentic and the fake.

The piece departs from Vaslav Nijinski’s classic The Afternoon of a Faun (1912) - a provocation when it first premiered. Soon, Nijinski’s biography gets interwoven with the performer’s own: from the unscrupulous boot camps of the Soviet ballet school up to his days as a striptease dancer and reality TV-star in Israel. As the afternoon of the faun turns into the evening, the audience gets increasingly involved in the performance and finds itself revisiting shadows and seductions of the past – stripping down to the most fragile layers.

Astmans autobiographical auction presents a rare synergy between theater, dance, visual arts and even culinary performance, where anything goes, no one is innocent and everything has a price.
